If you have a question about this talk, please contact Tim Adamo.

This talk is about an exact solution of the 4+1 dimensional vacuum Einstein equations which can be interpreted as an adiabatic evolution of a Euclidean Taub-NUT space from Euclidean 4-space. This solution is not new but little studied. Remarkably, the Maxwell and Dirac equations on this background also allow for exact adiabatic solutions. I will interpret them in the framework of a geometric model of the electron and discuss tentative links with Dirac’s large number hypothesis.

This talk is part of the Mathematical Physics Seminar series.
