Most, but not all known Feynman integrals, arising from various quantum field theories, can be expressed by certain generalizations of polylogarithms. I discuss an implementation of multiple polylogarithms in several variables, which is a very general class of such functions, and comment on a criterion which helps to decide, which Feynman integrals can be computed in this framework. I furthermore discuss a result for the two-loop sunrise graph with arbitrary masses, where this criterion is not satisfied.
