In this seminar we review the latest developments on the precise prediction of the Higgs boson pair production cross section at hadron colliders, including the NNLO QCD corrections computed in the large top quark mass (Mt) limit, their combination with the NLO result with full Mt dependence, and the possible improvements to account for finite Mt effects at NNLO .
