If you have a question about this talk, please contact Professor Maciej Dunajski.

This talk is in two parts, the first of which concerns solutions of the SU(2) Hitchin equations on R2. Such fields are labelled by an integer n, and for n>2 one gets a hyperkahler moduli space M. I shall describe some of the geometry of M in the simplest case n=3. The second part of the talk introduces an integrable lattice version of the Hitchin equations, motivated by ADHM data for T2-symmetric instantons.

This talk is part of the Mathematical Physics Seminar series.
