Globally F-regular varieties are a special type of Frobenius split varieties
and closely related to log Fano varieties. Toric and Schubert varieties (in
positive characteristic) are important examples of globally F-regular
varieties. I will discuss vanishing theorems, and in particular Kollar’s
injectivity theorem for semi-ample line bundles, on globally F-regular
varieties. This talk is based on joint work with Yoshinori Gongyo.
