This talk presents numerical simulations of an inspiraling black-hole binary
in scalar tensor theory. The no-hair theorem is overcome in this setup
through a scalar field gradient and choosing the orbital plane of the binary
to be oriented along the gradient direction. The interaction of the black
holes with the scalar field give rise to a radiative scalar dipole which
oscillates at twice the orbital frequency.
