We investigate a family of random sets in Rd, the fractal percolation, and show that almost surely, the Hausdorff dimension of the fractal percolation set may be decreased via a quasiconformal map f:Rd->Rd. The talk is based on joint work with Eino Rossi (University of Helsinki).
