In this talk, we consider the inverse problem of determining a (vector valued) function and 1-form from their integrals with a (matrix) weight along geodesics on a manifold with strictly convex boundary. We show unique determination, modulo some natural obstructions, for manifolds admitting strictly convex functions in dimension three and higher and for generic ones in arbitrary dimension. We also apply our results to study some non-linear inverse problems arising naturally in geometry and mathematical physics.

Part of the talk is based on a joint work with G. P. Paternain, M. Salo and G. Uhlmann.

This talk is part of the Partial Differential Equations seminar series.
