I will explain the main results in Johnstone’s and Moerdijk’s “Local Maps of Toposes” paper, reviewing a lot of the background material on Topos Theory as I do it. This is a good opportunity for Part III students taking the Topos Theory course to see some of the theory in action, and also for anyone interested in the topic per se, since it has become quite relevant in the study of Realisability.

This talk is part of the Junior Category Theory Seminar series.
