Berthelot defines the sheaf of differential operators \widehat{D}_X^[m] of level m on a formal scheme X over a c.d.v.r. R of mixed characteristic (0, p). In this talk we prove there is an isomorphism between \widehat{D}_X^[1] and M_p(\widehat{D}_X^[0]) when X is the formal completion of A_R¹. If there is time we will study the global sections of \widehat{D}_X^[1] when X is the formal completion of P_R¹.
