Weighted are the higher dimensional or “enriched” version of the usual categorical limits. The presentation will use the notion of tensor product, defined via coends, as a motivation. If there’s time at the end, I’ll talk about the applications in my work, i.e. calculating the classifying topos for a geometric theory by taking weighted limits of the object classifier, and how that relates to exponentiability in the bicategory of Grothendieck toposes.

This talk is part of the Junior Category Theory Seminar series.
