If you have a question about this talk, please contact David Knowles.
The Statistics Clinic is a fortnightly meeting between Statisticians and Machine Learners on one side and Researchers (Graduate Students and Research Staff) on the other. The Statisticians provide advice on all questions relating to uncertainty, hypothesis testing, data modeling and inference.
The idea is to keep the threshold to participation as low as possible: All graduate students and researchers are invited, regardless of their field. If you have a lot of highly structured data, or very little, noisy data, if you do not know how to test the validity of a particular hypothesis or infer an unmeasurable quantity from observations of dependent variables, you are very much invited to come and join us.
If you would like to make an appointment, send an email to clinic [at] statslab.cam.ac.uk. Otherwise, you can also simply walk in.
This talk is part of the Cambridge Statistics Clinic series.
