In this talk I will give a brief introduction to the Representation Theory of Symmetric Groups, covering some key definitions (partitions, Young diagrams, tableaux, tabloids, polytabloids, Specht modules, James modules, etc.), show some “partition magic”, and talk about a few open questions.
