The notion of a holonomic D-module is a powerful tool in geometric representation theory. We study a p-adic analytic analogue by introducing the notion of a weakly holonomic D-cap-module on a rigid analytic space. As the name suggests, there are some notable differences to the classical theory. This is joint work with Konstantin Ardakov and Simon Wadsley.
