There has recently been much interest in whether or not strong cosmic censorship holds on de Sitter spacetimes. I will give an overview of the strong cosmic censorship conjecture in general and more specifically for Reissner-Nordstrom-de Sitter and Kerr-de Sitter black holes. For Kerr-de Sitter, I will explain how the quasinormal modes can be used to show that strong cosmic censorship is indeed respected.
