If you have a question about this talk, please contact David Stewart. I will begin with an introduction to preprojective algebras, explaining their description in terms of quivers and relations and in terms of Auslander-Reiten theory. Then I will introduce higher preprojective algebras, as studied by Iyama, Herschend, and Oppermann. I will talk about joint work with Iyama, which considers when and how higher preprojective algebras of Koszul algebras can be described by quivers with superpotentials. Depending on time, I may also talk about projective resolutions of simple modules for these algebras. This talk is part of the Algebra and Representation Theory Seminar series.
