I will explain the main results in Johnstone’s and
Moerdijk’s “Local Maps of Toposes” paper, reviewing a lot of the
background material on Topos Theory as I do it. This is a good
opportunity for Part III students taking the Topos Theory course to
see some of the theory in action, and also for anyone interested in
the topic per se, since it has become quite relevant in the study of
Realisability.
