The talk is concerned with a flow of electrically charged liquid running through a narrow channel with charged walls. In such a flow the electrokinetic phenomenon of streaming potential, which arises as a consequence of formation of the electric double layer on the solid-liquid interface, is
relevant. In the seminar, we explore how the streaming potential affects the stability of the plane Poiseuille flow.
