The process of localisation remains an important tool in noncommutative ring theory, but added complications mean that it is not always possible at a prime ideal. I will talk about the methods employed to deal with this problem, and apply them to the case of an Iwasawa algebra of a soluble compact p-adic Lie group over the local ring Zp.
