In this talk we will show how to construct nonradial classical solutions to the 2d incompressible Euler equations. More precisely, for any positive integer k, we will see how to construct compactly supported stationary Euler flows of class C^k which are not locally radial. The talk is based on a joint work with Alberto Enciso (Madrid) and David Ruiz (Granada).
This talk is part of the Partial Differential Equations seminar series.
