TWT - Twistor theory

The self-dual twistor distribution of a 4-dimensional split-conformal manifoldis an induced rank 2 distribution on the 5-dimensional space of all real self-dualnull 2-planes. There are known examples of such distributions whose symmetry algebrais the exceptional Lie algebra of type G2. In this talk we present a classificationof a class of conformal structures with G2-symmetric twistor distributions and discusssome of their properties (Einstein scales, holonomy,...). This is joint work with PawełNurowski and Dennis The.
