I will describe how the Wheeler-DeWitt equation can be solved in the late-time expansion of an asymptotically de Sitter spacetime. The physical states are found to be wavefunctionals with the same symmetries as CFT partition functions, so that the Hilbert space is “theory space.” The inner product can be defined using a suitable procedure to gauge-fix the Weyl and diffeomorphism invariance, in which an important role is played by the residual conformal symmetry. I will discuss how cosmological correlators can be interpreted as gauge-fixed observables and satisfy a cosmological version of the holography of information.
