If you have a question about this talk, please contact nobody. MWS - Mathematical theory and applications of multiple wave scattering The motion of gyro-elastic structures has a special feature – the gyroscopic force, which is orthogonal to the velocity (similar to the Lorentz force in electromagnetism). The lecture gives an overview of the recent work on the dispersion and localisation of waves in elastic waveguides, which include structures connected to multiple gyroscopic spinners. In addition to theoretical modelling, the lecture will also include practical demonstrations and illustrative examples. This talk is part of the Isaac Newton Institute Seminar Series series.
