In this talk, I will show how one can endow the space of b-divisors or b-cycles with different topologies in order to understand certain problems in algebraic dynamics. More precisely, I will show how one can use a compactness result in the space of b-divisors as well as a theory of intersection of 2 b-divisors to understand how a rational mapping acts under pullback on divisors.
