Social Networks are about more than sheep throwing among friends, notwithstanding Facebook’s success thus far. At Vipadia we have developed a cloud-based platform for real-time audio and video collaboration capable of bringing real-time collaboration inside applications. One of the first applications we have built on our platform is a gadget enabling you to embed audio/video conferencing for users within your opensocial network. In this talk I will describe our platform and how we use various social networking technologies to provide this gadget.
