If you have a question about this talk, please contact Perla Sousi. I will discuss recent developments in the study of the behavior of the Riemann zeta function in the vicinity of a random point on the critical line. In particular, I will discuss connections to the theory of logarithmically correlated fields and multiplicative chaos.
