Machine Learning Tutorial Lecture

The possibility of reliable communication over unreliable channels is a miracle of 20th century mathematics – a true violation of sod’s law. In 90 minutes, we’ll get from elementary error-correcting codes to state-of-the-art sparse-graph codes decoded by belief propagation.
