In this talk, I will discuss some recent results obtained in collaboration with Tien-Tsan Shieh introducing a new class of fractional elliptic PDE . In particular, I will emphasize several of the motivations for our interest in these equations. This includes their use in physical systems, their inception via nonlocal gradients, and their application in understanding regularity of PDE as a part of a continuous spectrum of results.

This talk is part of the Applied and Computational Analysis series.
