If you have a question about this talk, please contact Shahar Hadar.

I will discuss screened, modified gravity models. These models behave differently in sparse environments than dense ones such that a fifth force is screened in the solar system, but not cosmologically. I will discuss the motivation for such models and possible ways to test them in the laboratory and in regions of strong gravity around astrophysical black holes.

This talk is part of the Theoretical Physics Colloquium series.
