Fractional calculus is the study of generalising the order of differentiation beyond the integers to rational, real, and even complex orders. This field has both a long history and widespread applications. In this talk I will present several new methods for solving fractional PDEs, each of which allows us to construct explicit solutions for certain classes of linear fractional PDEs. No prior knowledge of fractional calculus is necessary.
