Quantum key distribution (QKD) was first suggested in 1984. Thirty years later, there is still room for surprising protocols and for novel attacks. Here I shall present protocols in which only one party is quantum (theory and practice). I shall also describe attacks inspired by Yakir Aharonov’s notion
known as the two-state vector formalism.
