If you have a question about this talk, please contact Jake Rasmussen. Abstract: I will start with an overview of the cryptographic techniques we use, give you a little tour of our security lab which demonstrates most of the cryptographic engines we use, and then explain what our products are used for. I will also spend some time explaining how we eventually turned this into a very efficient and profitable company (or how I transformed – at least partly – from research to business), with some of the largest banks in the world as our customers. Bio: Originally from Denmark, Peter Landrock did his PhD at the University of Chicago and worked for a decade as a mathematician at Aarhus University before founding Cryptomathic, which provides cryptographic solutions for electronic banking. A former president of the International Association for Cryptologic Research, Landrock now resides in Cambridge. This talk is part of the CMS Seminars from business and industry series.
