Alternative theories for structure formation often involve a fifth force which could affect the clustering properties of matter. Such theories are highly nonlinear because one must ensure that the fifth force is weak enough in high density regions to pass the current laboratory tests, while in low density regions it can be of gravitational strength. In the standard LCDM model analytical formulae exist to predict the nonlinear structure formation in agreement with numerical simulations, while this approach is difficult to apply to the alternative theories. Here we propose an extension to this approach that solves this problem.
