I will talk about a new hydrodynamic code for stellar interiors that we are currently developing in our team. The code is implicit in time, hence without any stability limit on the time step. I will present our motivation for developing such a tool and emphasize some important technical aspects of implicit solvers. I will also show some numerical results on stellar convection obtained with the code and will conclude by presenting future developments and astrophysical applications of the code.
