This presentation discusses how Shanghai, as a fastest developing metropolitan city in the world, is constructing and managing its infrastructure, such as water supply, road tunnels, metro, meglev, bridges, road, high speed rail, etc. The important technical details and big lessons from last 20 years engineering practice are highlighted. Finally, the personal vision of Shanghai’s future development is addressed. The presentation will also make a comparetive study between Shanghai and other metropolitan cities in the world.
