TWTW01 - Twistors in Geometry & Physics

Following Woodhouse, Mason and Fletcher, I review the twistor construction of stationary, axisymmetric space-times and Ricci-flat 4-metrics with toric symmetry, in terms of holomorphic line-bundles over a reduced twistor space. The construction focusses attention on a patching matrix as the basic datum of a solution, and it is then a question of interest to catalogue these matrices for known solutions, including the Chen-Teo metric of 2015. Based on joint work with Maciej Dunajski.
