MMVW01 - Summer School on Mathematics of Movement The application of Levy models towards modelling of animal foraging produced a prominent Levy flight foraging hypothesis and a long discussion in the field. The talk will be devoted to some of the analytical and numerical estimations of target search efficiency of Levy models. The questions of universality and general applicability to real data will be considered as well. This talk is part of the Isaac Newton Institute Seminar Series series.
