I will discuss the indirect estimation of Hamiltonian
parameters through measuring a few qubits of a large
coupled graph. This can be seen as an instance of system
identification. Then I will speak about the controllability
of the graph through restricted operations on a few qubits.
The two problems have a joint graph-theoretical criterion.
