Conformal higher-spin gravity is a higher-spin extension of Weyl gravity. Despite being non-unitary, it provides a remarkable example of a local, consistent, interacting higher-spin theory around a flat background, admitting a rather simple definition. Accordingly, it will be reviewed without assuming any prior knowledge of higher-spin theories. A list of some recent results and open problems will conclude the presentation.
