If you have a question about this talk, please contact Tobias Baldauf. After an introduction to inflation and the CMB , we will discuss recent work on the numerical predictions of multi-field inflation and aim to provide a simple analytic understanding for these results. Secondly, we will consider the possibility of a non-trivial metric on the scalar manifold and discuss the relation with the Planck results. The emphasis in this part will be on the recent developments of multi-field trajectories in hyperbolic geometries. This talk is part of the Cosmology Lunch series.
