If you have a question about this talk, please contact Dr. Carl Turner. I will discuss a setup in which the dimensional-deconstruction limit can be applied at the level of exact, N=2 partition functions on the four sphere, calculated via localisation or topological strings. This leads to the BPS partition function of the 6D (2,0) SCFT on the four sphere times a torus and provides a quantitative check of the deconstruction proposal. The same principle will then be applied to the deconstruction of Little String Theory. This provides a nontrivial test for a recent proposal regarding N=1 partition functions on the four sphere, which are not currently calculable via localisation or topological string theory.
