OASW03 - Subfactors, K-theory and conformal field theory
I will review in this talk the relationships physicists observe/conjecture between the associative algebras (such as Temperley-Lieb) that appear in lattice models, and the conformal field theories (CFT) that describe their continuum limits. I will then discuss in more detail a possible way to perform “fusion” for affine Temperley-Lieb modules, and what this may have to do with Operator Product Expansion (OPE) in CFT .
