If you have a question about this talk, please contact Robert Asher. https://alumni.trinhall.cam.ac.uk/NatsciSocietyLecture2018 Dr Taylor-Cousar will review the similarities and differences between monkeys and great apes, and then those between humans and orangutans. She will then discuss the environmental and medical issues that threaten the existence of this critically endangered species then show how our similarities have allowed successful use of human therapies to treat orangutans with respiratory disease.
