If you have a question about this talk, please contact info@newton.ac.uk. NPC - Non-positive curvature group actions and cohomology I will define approximate groups and discuss the definition and its variants. I will them state the general structure theorem for approximate groups and derive consequences such as improvements on Gromov's polynomial growth theorem and almost flat manifolds theorem and a generalized Margulis lemma.
