TWT - Twistor theory While many dispersionless integrable systems can be incorporated into the twistor programme via the “Ward Conjecture”, dispersive equation (the paradigm being the KP equation) have remained outside. In this talk a deformed – in the sense of Moyal/deformation quantization – twistor space is constructed. This encodes in its deformed complex geometry equations such as the KP, infinite Toda chain and the quantum Joyce equation. This uses the Drinfeld twist approach to construct a deformed differential geometry. (joint work with Richard Szabo) This talk is part of the Isaac Newton Institute Seminar Series series.
