BLH - Black holes: bridges between number theory and holographic quantum information By following the implications of Hawking’s original discovery that black holes are thermodynamic systems that radiate and have a definite temperature and entropy, one is led to the idea that, at the quantum level, spacetime is holographic. This talk will review these arguments that ultimately suggest that our world of three space and one time dimension is just a hologram of a reality consisting of two space and one time dimensions.
