If you have a question about this talk, please contact nobody. MMVW04 - Modelling non-Markov Movement Processes The KPZ equation has become a paradigm for extended systems far from equilibrium. By exploiting a variational approach, we will show that certain conjectures ussually accepted to be truths are in fact false, and will show some results that can be extracted from the temporal behaviour of the functional emergingfrom the study, among them the intrinsic non-Markov character of the problem.
