If you have a question about this talk, please contact nobody. MWSW04 - Multiple scattering in engineering and applied sciences We provide a simple and general way for 1D continuous nonreciprocal systems to be exactly mapped to the the non-Hermitian Hatano-Nelson (HN) model. Our approach relies on the two port transfer matrix and could by applied to a plethora of physical systems. We verify our model experimentally using acoustic waveguides and observe the non-Hermitianskin effect. Furthermore, we investigate the transition from a periodic boundary condition (PBC) to an open boundary condition (OBC) using diaphragms of different radii, and experimentally observe the sensitivity to boundary conditions.
