Further detail
The Professional Development Series aimed at PhD students. is a series of talks and workshops covering professional skills, as well as how to plan for and succeed in an academic career. The series has been planned by PhD students to focus on topics that are not directly research-related but identified as important skills and knowledge to have when working in an academic setting. Though the talks are planned with PhD students in mind, some topics may be of interest to early-career researchers, and we welcome and encourage attendance from anyone in the department who is interested.
