NC2W02 - Crossing the bridge: New connections in number theory and physics I will briefly discuss three separate projects, each of which touches on some topics or methods which appear in both number theory and physics. 1. Superconformal symmetry in the Monster group conformal field theory. (A project with Ranveer Singh.) 2. Time reversal invariance in Chern-Simons theory and the Witt group. (A project with Roman Geiko.) 3. The Coulomb branch integral (a.k.a. U-plane integral) approach to ``K-theoretic Donaldson invariants’’ using 5d topologically twisted SYM .
